Hi!
I'm trying to export a simple model I've made in Sketchup to Omsi, but I am experimenting some trouble in blender-to-omsi step. Here is my exporting sequence:
- Sketch-up to .obj (also creates a .mtl file, but I don't use it)
- .obj to Blender
- Blender to .x
- .x to .o3d (via m-r conversor)
Then I create .osc, I put textures in /texture folder on my personal Scenaryobjects folder and I load Omsi.
Here there are some screens of the exporting process, for you to see the bad results:
The object in Sketchup...everything seems ok...
The same in blender, after exporting, and being rendered. Textures are OK and the object is on its position.
But...when I open omsi and I add it into my map, that's what happens. No textures at all (there are two files, one is missing but not the other) and I don't know why, it is laying on the floor...
Here we can see the same as before but the texture which is actually present had to appear on this side...(the green with letters) but still nothing.
Some months ago I've tried to export some objects of a friend of mine, made in 3ds max, and the same ocurred: no textures at all. Today, I realized that the exporter took the name of the material ("Material1") and not the one of the file, so I changed that...and still nothing.
So, here is my question: Why I cannot export my objects with textures, from Blender to Omsi? In Blender everything seems ok, but after the last conversion, every time I try it fails.
