As I have noticed that there was a satellite image in the game folder so I can boldly believe this is a real city, but after many times of searching with its geography names like Zarechensk, Akadem Gorodok, Zapravka etc with either Google Maps or Yandex Map, I've got no definite result.
its a Moscow city. Metro Vykhino.Area kosino-Ukhtomskoe. the action takes place on the map in the 1990s.

Thanks for that but I dont see how this links to the Google Maps view. The area you have shown doesnt represent what is shown on the map? Are you able to give me a reference point for say Ozero or Akadem Gorodo on Google maps then I can work out where it is? Thanks
you do not understand. it is now a place on Google maps. it is not necessary to navigate for "Ozero or Akadem Gorodok" this fictitious names!!!!!! on 1990 year! see railway station Ухтомская.

street names and endpoints invented for omsi map! or some of the streets today in 2014 have different names!

Shalom shalom Artur, I've tried to open the map in the Editor and saved it (like how you told me to), but still the map does not appear in the OMSI Main Menu.
Edit: Shalom Artur, the map has now appeared in the Main Menu, not sure how that happened but hopefully it's because of your help that it worked, thanks a lot!
