  • Hi all,
I thought it might be a good idea if people translate ideas how to solve problems with OMSI 2 from German to English and vice versa.

I do the kick off by translating a post originally by Alexander1991. He tells us how to get rid of the invisible wall in Falkensee. Perhaps other people volunteer for other translations.

    Erasing invisible walls
Alexander 1991 made a tutorial how to get rid of the invisible wall in Falkensee. Here is the English translation (summarized of course, I am lazy). Mind that neither Alexander nor I will take any responsibility for your actions.
    1. Start the editor, if you don’t know how to do it have a look here: Enabling Editor on OMSI 2 (STEAM bought version)
    2. Load the global.cfg in the Maps ->Spandau folder
    3. Click on “Helpers” and then “Show Boundingboxes”
    4. Click once more on “Helpers” and on “Test Entrypoint List”. Choose “Falkenseer Bahnhof” as it is closest to the place where the invisible walls are. Find your way to the invisible walls.
    5. When you get there you will find some transparent boxes with black boxes (sounds weird but you will recognize it!) that are partly on the road. They belong to a tree. Delete this tree. Feel free to erase another one that leans a bit into the road.
    6. Plant a new tree in the editor if you like trees.
    7. Save your changes.
    8. Drive safely and enjoy.

Perhaps you can go there and leave him a little thank you when it has worked. The Germans’ responses have been enthusiastic so far.

If you find any typing mistakes, you may keep them, it’s Christmas time after all.
