[UPDATED 05/07] O405GN2 (Drei Generationen): ZF sound + gearbox script

    Hello everyone,
    as many have noticed, Drei Generationen is a great addon but it lacks a bit of quality in the sounds, escpecially for the GN2 (1999 VHH model if you prefer). I had some great OM447hLa and ZF gearbox recordings on my computer, so I decided I could put toghether a sound mod for this great bus. Here's a demo for you to listen:

    Last but not least, I've also modified the gearbox script with real values for the ZF 4HP gearbox, as some (including me) requested.

    In case you don't, I included backup files. When installing just copy the files to OMSI main folder and say yes to overwrite.
    I would like to thank Moprhi, from whom I learnt a lot about making sounds for OMSI

    It sounds nice, but the original sound isn't that bad. The GN2 with ZF4HP and the long final drive axle sounds very different to the standard axle. You can compare it with this: Videolink
    In my opinion, this is one of the best sounding O405 ever produced.

    Yeah the original sounds have good axle but the gearbox is missing and the engine has a pretty bad sound in my opinion

    It's also pretty similar to what I created, just the axle sounds is a bit higher-pitched in my version.

    I find this mod very good; especially the door sounds. The only thing which is strange is if you start the motor than an dull sound cames and a few seconds later this quiet sounds from you. But they aren´t really qiet so only the bass makes the differences.

    Bei mir ist kein Motorsound zu hören. Lediglich kurz wenn ich den Motor starte und dannach toten stille. Den Türsound höre ich jedoch.

    Das war nicht gut.
    Du musst den Ordner "Sound_New" so wie er ist einfach in den Soundordner verschieben.
    So das du wenn du den Ordner Sound im Busordner öffnest den Ordner new siehst.


    Dann funktiniert auch alles einwandfrei

    Was mir hier noch ehrlich gesagt fehlt, ist der schöne Überschaltsound in den nächsten Gang. Aber sonst BOMBE!!!

    gute Sounds und was ich auch cool finde ist das heulen, in Halle haben (hatten) wir auch so GN2 aber mit anderem Baujahr. Der Sound klingt diesem schon sehr ähnlich, das finde ich cool, jetzt fehlt nur noch das passende Repaint.
