A few questions for developers

    Of course it would be nice for russian people. But I don't think that MR will translate OMSI into the russian language, because there would be many problems, for example the russian charakters and the german Ä, Ö and Ü.

    Officially, the game has been translated into English language. I do not think that is a big problem, that would translate into Russian.

    Overall, the game has been translated into Russian (except for training and descriptions of maps and buses). If MP Software is looking for a reason to translate his game into other languages with the help of volunteers. This would add additional language packs in Steam.


    French language support has begun only recently, were previously English and German.

    In OMSI 1.02, Spanish and French was added. As far as I can remember, it's not MR's task. Aerosoft does this. Maybe there is in the next patch Russian if you write Aerosoft an E-Mail.

    Autobusfan, why should there be a problem whit Cyrillic? Suppose you're using Russian, there will be no Ä, Ö, Ü or ß, because the translation would only affect the red text (STRG+Z) and the main menu.

    Exactly. But I think the encoding has some problem, we can see this by some Russian made buses? They appear not to show cyrillic, but random characters. If this can be fixed some how, and I think the Windows OS should have Russian or any other cyrillic language installed as a unicode support language, than it can be made.
