@ B-V-4023: Yes.
I'll tune the sounds and change the idle sound... I'll pot results once I have them.
Also, a bit more fine tuning. Am I getting better or worse?

I'd say a lot better!
Now the steering wheel really looks better. I don't think that it is too dark. There are steering wheels in dark-brown and in bright-brown for the O405(G). Here is picture about a bright-brown O405(G)-steering wheel:
But I think mostly they have dark-brown steering wheels. If you want to create a perfect steering wheel for your bus, maybe you should take a look at the steering wheel from the O407 (built by Perotinus).
QuoteThe steering wheel still looks kinda weird to me
You should look at the colour of perotinus one, that might solve it
I agree with you.
But the brown is still brighter outward (RED TAGGED). I didn't found a picture about a real O405 having these difference in light intensity. GREEN TAGGED: Hm, that doesn't look so nice. Maybe you can change the texture or remove these black lines.
QuoteDo you mean the idle sound? That's taken from a real 1987 O405, maybe it sounds wierd because of a different muffler or sound insulation from what you expect? But the engine needs more bass when accelerating, I will defenentlety fix that.
Yep, I meant the idle sound. - Sorry that I wrote vague. The idle sound you really should change, the rest of the sound is okay, maybe a bit more bass (especially while acceleration) and I am happy.
How many gearboxes will we can choose? Or will there only be one?
Keep it up!

Looks perfect! I won't change any more in my opinion. This is how I know the steering wheel!
Schönes Modell!
Aber eine kleine Kritik hab ich weiß aber nicht ob das noch geändert wird.
Der Faltenbalg ist oben an der Seite nicht so angerundet, sondern etwas schräger, geht mit der Verkleidung sozusagen.
You can this with the translator, i can not so good englisch, sorry
Hi Pedro,
You've done a lot of good work
As you did improve, it would be cool
Regards
Tomocznikov
Thanks Tomocznikov, it seems obvious now but I had never noticed that. I'll get it fixed.
Also, I've been tuning the sounds - any comments or suggestions?
Hello Pedro. The idle sound is much better now.
But I don't agree with the driving sound, I tink the older sound was more realistic. The new sound you created is too noisy and unclear in my opinion.
I have no idea how you create the driving sounds, but I found three videos in which you can hear the (idle sound and the) driving sound very good:
1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJFeS9P0uNE
2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrtqQlX2VGE
3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixPFxzciRBM
Also I would be happy I you release a few gearboxes/driving sounds we can choose later. If you ask me, I think only one gearbox/driving sound isn't the best idea, because there are so many opinions from different users and not everybody likes the same gearboxes/sounds.
Greetings and keep up the good work!
Thank you for the input.
The sound is pretty much the same as in the other videos. I had to remake the sounds from the samples so they'd be stereo, but they have the same source so they sound the same. However, I added some bass sounds on top (from a different O405) as an experiment - and I also agree they sound less clear than the old ones. I'm still experimenting with making the sound a bit more muffled in mid/high RPM's, but I'm glad you like the idle sound.
Also, the bus will come out with the W4E only. Yes, I know that O405's with ZF are quite common, and O405's with Voith are rare but make a quite unique sound... but please understand I can't make every variant possible. I started the first steps on this project about a year ago, and I'm about to call it done. I tried to make it as customizable as possible, and I'll release an SDK with some original meshes and the paintkit for people to mod the bus at their will, but what you see in the bus now is what it'll be released with. Maybe the community can fill all the gaps I've left.
All right, I can understand that you can't make every variant possible. If you need more input for the W4E-gearbox, maybe you should check out these recordings:
1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJFeS9P0uNE (already posted)
2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD0T5QxiHbA (same O405 as link 1 but a different recording)
3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVW2G9SK6Og
Thanks, more sources are always welcome.
Also did another attempt at the sounds:
http://1drv.ms/1OBsYfQ
Nearly perfect!
I noticed a weird sound when you accelerate quickly, I mean exactly this sound (using the timeline feature): https://youtu.be/VGeW5dRSrcc?t=1m13s
I don't listen this part of the acceleration-sound in the videos I have posted, but anyway it (quick acceleration-sound) sounds spurious. However, that's only mine impression.
The bass is fine.
Kann es sein, dass es noch etwas zu lange dauert, bis der mal aus dem 1. in den 2. Gang schaltet? Mir kommt das so vor, als wäre das ein bisschen zu lang, bis der weiterschaltet.
The effort you put into this project is massive! The latest progress are just wonderfull, and, even if you're providing only the W4E version, I'm sure that somebody will provide a soundmod (pretty sure Morphi will). The fact that you're giving us the ability to customize as we like the product is fantastic: nobody does that (actually someone do, but giving the user a really small amount of things that are customizable).
Ok, kam mir nur etwas merkwürdig vor.
Nice job Pedro , i have some O402 if you interested in the O402 later i can give all the pics i have of 8125 and 8126 two Mercedes Benz O402 wich rodoviária do Alentejo had.
Happy New Year to the OMSI Community!
I've been tweaking some stuff here and there, and also making some repaints in the free time I had during Christmas.
I've fixed the steering wheel alignment, lowered the air intake (it was too high, now it's at the height of the tail lights) and also fixed the grill on the front heater unit (thanks to fw-online.de
Oh, and the door script has also been fixed, it's now possible to operate the doors without the stop brake in fully manual mode. Automatic mode operates like the BVG standard controls.
Wow Pedro its a really nice Bus.
I like your Work.
But what is the IBIS? IBIS 1 or IBIS 2?
Or is it Combinated Cash Desk with an integrated IBIS?
Is that a Annax or a normal Matrix like the MAN D92 or is it a LAWO, BUSE, C56 etc. (First Picture)
Happy New Year Pedro
Wow, your work looks really realy good
