Täuscht es oder sind die Klappfenster zu hoch? Ich finde die müssten noch bissl schmaler werden?

Das täuscht du dich

Hi I have one question:Did you do a new repaint template?

also the 3rd and 4th? Ohh, i love that way of door control.
Well, fully manual door control may be nice for a change now and then, though, honestly, I find it to get exhausting for real, really soon. I hacked up a manual 4D O 530 G version for testing purposes and, especially when there are many standing passengers on board -let alone when entry is allowed at doors 2-3(/-4) as well- it's frankly impossible to safely close the last (two) doors -even when leaning out of the driver's cabin- without getting sued for injuring a passenger (thank goodness that's not (yet) possible in OMSI
). You could of course have a safety mechanism (i.e. "Lichtschranke") for assisting you in that respect, but still, having multiple failed closure attempts, multiplied by 2 or 3 doors per stop, is tiring and costs too much time. At a bare minimum one would need to have the second and third door monitored via CCTV and two dedicated (or one split) displays for fully manual door operation to be feasible. On a side note, we still have a few (crappy) modified O 405 GN2 here in Athens which feature 4 fully manual doors (all buses here generally do) without cameras, just plain mirrors. I think I'd go insane, were I forced to service those during rush hour! No, seriously, Berlin-style door control is imho as convenient as door control can get in a city bus today.
That said, how this particular model's doors will function shouldn't really matter, as it's more or less a matter of copy/pasting a few tens of lines to adapt the door script to suit one's fancy.

Ok guys, I managed to fix a few things:
The ceiling texture is now more unified when it comes to colors and saturation:
The openable windows now have handles:
The steering wheel texture has been improved:
Completely new mapping of the interior glass panes:
-
-
Yup, I will make them, no worries. I just need a good photo of them (I saw one here, but the post probaby got deleted). Preferably the side of the button case and the front (with the button visible).

For now maybe this?

I got a look in my Photo FOlder. Maybe i have a Foto of a Button

The wheels of alTerrs Citaro are not realistic. All Citaros have individual wheel suspension (= Einzelradaufhängung) and there wheels look like this.
EDIT: There is another point: The steering wheel texture is too dark. It has to be lighter with a touch of grey-blue. The steering wheel is much lighter than the dashboard.
Because it's in the middle of the discussion, I reposted it.And there is another mistake:
Zitat
The seat next to the window (tehh one without handrail next to the one with handrail) has to be higher:

The rods on which the seats are placed also look different.
I drew a picture to show you:Helvete: The post got deleted. But these were the fotos:
The one behind the driver and in seat groups for four people: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/173/370769897_6c684c320e_o.jpg
And the standard one placed in the handrails: https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/…74219648_21bc14d2af_o.jpg
Most often in this color scheme: https://www.flickr.com/photos/45527555@N00/2453037942 -
Sorry to ask but are you not modding the Citaro G as well? Id of thought seeing as both buses are popular.
Great work again but sad it's only the rigid version
-
Hello Helvete, i have a question.
Will you fix this bug?
The green text is on the left side, the red fields are on the right side and they have 0% transparency, but you can see the green text from the right side always.
I hope i haven't wrote some bullshit here, my English isn't the best... -
Don't you guys worry, the windows have been redone and are working properly
This problem is due to the fact that both external and internal glass panes were in one o3d file, I made them separate and put them in the right order in the cfg file. -

But there's one question in my mind, and I didn't find the answer in the first post: Do you plan to make the Euro 4 Version or the Euro 5/EEV Version?
best regards
MAN-Fan -
Thanks
Well I don't know yet, the basic idea was to do a euro 5 version. Is there any significant difference in interior design between the two? -
I wouldn't know some very important inner differences, but some which got changed later in the €5-version.
-
I think the difference is that the new ones have a
Zitat(you see it on the left in the picture)
instead of a seat. -
Helvete: Are Stopbuttons and Seats in seperate .o3d-File exported?
Yes, they are. Speaking of stop buttons, this is the first and probably the final version of them. I didn't have much texture space to use, since it's mapped on the handrail texture (so it is repaintable). I've also simplified the shape of it for performance reasons
