I bet all modellers know that feeling, when you just wanna know how your door opening will look in OMSI...

Very very good work.
Thank you very much for this pictures.
But i think the texture of the wheels are a little bit to bright.
So i mean the wheels on the back. The wheels on the front are top

Don't worry, the rear wheels will get darker textures. The reason for it being different is that the photo was taken on a sunnier day
Once again, we're back in the driver's seat.
Thanks to Sprintex, the dials on the dashboard were added.
It looks quite nice for being the first textured render, but the steering wheel and the centre dashboard panel will be remodeled, because they do not exactly match the shape of the real one.
Also, here is a terrible try at painting the older livery... At least now I can see that some parts of the exterior will need to be remodeled as well, due to inaccuracy.
Regards
That Looks very nicely!
The left side of the main dashboard is almost completed. But I will also make a "worn" texture set, because as you can imagine this isn't how shiny the Volvos look like at the moment
Rounded the switches down a bit. After texturing each button, I will correct the exterior, and finish the cabin hopefully.
So within the 7700A there will be 3 sub-variants, 2004, 2005, 2006. The newest has the new dashboard, also the latest two series has bigger opening side windows. Later, we might also make the solo variant, and the "old-brother" 7000, both solo and articulated. This is the plan at the moment, we'll see how life plays out
Very sad news. Today after switching on my computer, when i tried to open the 3D model of the bus, i found out that the data was corrupted. Almost 90% of the model was lost, that means I'm back to start...
I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped me out, and everyone who was following the development, but after this, I'm thinking very hard if it's worth restarting.
Here is how the corrupted file looks, after opening...
And now, take a look at your calendar. You've been fooled, my friend!
Do you publish that "special" bus too??
In German, a group tour is called "Kaffefahrt" (coffee drive). That´s the best vehicle for it.
Please, that would be great!
Probably the best April fools I have seen on this forum. Still scared me a bit due to the high quality of the model.

Who, knows... There will be an april fools day next year as well

Thank you!
Don't worry, guys everything is fine in reality! Started marrying the "ass" of the articulated bus with the front, so now I sort of have the solo 7700 variant.
The public transport company of Budapest bought 38 of these used, from the Dutch transport company Veolia. Several things were changed since they arrived. They got aircon installed, and also got openable windows.
And here is my try at replicating it
Certainly will keep an eye on this thread. Thank you for the work in progress so far.
I need to get back to bus building at some stage.
The last exam for me will be over the next week, so instead of learning i made some gas and brake pedals...
66 polygons. How? Optical illusions my friend...
So as i said earlier we have 50 Volvos fitted with the newer dashboard. Which looks like this:
This is the view from the drivers perspective:
And this is the real counterpart:
The steering wheel is kind-of a placeholder, so don't worry if it looks unrealistic
Oh my gosh. This one is getting better and better with every update you're going to show us.
Im very proud to drive this one, when you release it. Thank you very much for that great work.
I have a question for author: Do you have in plans to make a dashboard with 4 buttons for opening/closing doors and with some another elements? Anyway, you can compare picture of dashboard. For example: http://fotobus.msk.ru/photo/13/66/03/1366034.jpg
Good day everyone
The steering wheel have been refined, as you can see:
And I also started modeling some switches and texturing them:

Yes, there will be a version with manual one-by-one door control.
Greetings!
When I started this project, almost exactly a year ago, I thought it won't be a big thing to model a bus. After all, for most people they all look like similar boxes with 4 or more wheels.
And now, here we are, in the middle of summer one year later... The model is around 70% ready.
As you could read on the forums, our team is also helping out Busfahrer-JJ with his Facelift edition.
Okay, okay, but you may be asking when the projects will be finished? Which one will be finished first?
Well, for the first question I can only give an estimation. For the second one, the answer is first the Facelift, then our 7700A.
But we promised solo versions as well, right?
Yes, below you will find a roadmap with our plans on all Volvo-related developments
Also I will leave an image here from the dashboard that will be both in our 7700A and in Busfahrer-JJ's 7700A .
Cheers everyone
