Is it .o3d convert? If yes then that's the problem. OMSI can't handle more than ~20k tris on one model, maybe even less. You can leave it in .x, optimize it to use less poly or split it to two.
-

ZitatIs it .o3d convert? If yes then that's the problem. OMSI can't handle

.x, optimize it to use less poly or split it to two.
Was siehst du in der solid-Ansicht? -
@Rumpelhans
I think normals are fine. I bet my money on the fact that it can't handle .o3d with more than ~20k tris.

I've already posted options you have #102 -
Mit Backface Culling ist alles in Ordnung.
Zitat... You can leave it in .x, optimize it to use less poly or split it to two.
OMSI can read .x but .03d is preferred.
-
Ideen? -
I think you'll have to either split it to two or optimize it to use less tris. I'm pretty sure .x had/has also problems being rendered as [surface].
-
-
You need to have under 20000 tris. Maybe even less. I got away with ~17500 so far. Maybe you can go higher, but I haven't tested that.
-
On top header in Blender. There is no universal how, you have to learn it by trying it out. That's your job as a 3D artist, know where to cut the tris (=details) without the audience noticing. Amongs other things anyhow...

Soooooooo........erstmal Frohes Neues
!
Desto weniger, umso besser bzw. performance sparender?
MfG / best regards

The less tris=the less geometry your GPU has to render= it's somewhat faster. Also I said that it can't have >20000k tris. It can, but there is a file (.o3d) limit that breaks the actual object. I have it around 2MB. No idea how or why tho.
For paths you use Crossing editor, where you load splines and using CTRL+Click you align crossing paths to spline paths and then you go from there. Aligning splines is tricky and takes quite a lot time for a decent result.

So jetzt nochmal meine Frage präziser ausgedrückt:
Spline templates -> Load -> Create -> move it to the desired location (red circle) -> snap path to path.
