Russian bus in Omsi

1. Welche Version von OMSI 1 oder OMSI 2 wird benutzt? Omsi 2

I downloaded a russian bus, Liaz 677 in my Omsi and tried to use it.

It seems that my whole Omsi fails, because file names related to this bus have been written in russian

and that doesn't work in my computer.

Is there any way to get a bus like this to work? I mean another way than to change all the file names, that is impossible.

How do the russians get buses like this to work in their Omsi?

Hi,

well, typically these buses work on computers with standard language set to Russian.

Some of the filenames may contain cyrillic lettering, which is fine for a Windows set to Russian, but unintelligible for all those, set to other languages.

Not owning this vehicle, but having had the same issue with another one in the past, it finally worked after I changed the names of files with cyrillic letters in it and paths on the bus-file repectively, of course.

Although it might become necessary, to work through all the scripts as some variables may also bear such lettering in them.

And everytime when you want to play with that specific bus(in this case the bus with scripts written in russian) right-click on the OMSI shortcut>Locale Emulator and click on the profile that you have created(Instructions in the link).
