To M&R or anyone else that can help,
I would like to gain an understanding on how the differential first forward ratio of the Voith DIWA gearbox is modelled in OMSI. The reason I would like to understand this is because I would like to change the properties of this gear so that the ratio at the end of this gear is shorter (i.e. the engine can rev to near 2000rpm in first gear before dropping to near 1000rpm after changing into second gear) in order to emulate the more modern Voith DIWA gearboxes with a claimed first gear ratio of 5.05:1 or 6.2:1 and so on. This information would also assist other vehicle designers who would like to further enhance the realism of their vehicles.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.
