Sorry for bumping up this old thread, but i'm facing the same problem.
When playing on the Sittingen map and the Daytonford map, certain tiles refuse to load.
I've tried reinstalling Omsi and reinstalling both maps, but the problem still occurs.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

For some magical reason, the tiles have just re-appeared.
Though it strikes me as kind of odd, im happy the map is working again

    :)

Thanks for the tip, i never thought about curves being the problem.
I used standard sketchup settings to create an arc, but even a small one like the one below consists out of 12 segments..

How many segments would you recommend to avoid performance problems once I completed my map?
And are there any tips to deal with the curved textures problem?

Recently i started working on my first project. I would like to make almost every object on my own, so i started of with crossings.
I managed to get a first crossing correctly into omsi, but i experienced problems with my second model.
My .x model has a size of 15mb, which is too large for the omsixconverter to handle.
I think this is mainly because of the road markers, which are all seperate polylines.

i've read something about using textures instead of drawing the actual polylines, but how can i make correct textures when my road markers are curved? I can't seem to get the right curve into my textures.

All tips would be greatly appreciated

    :)
