I have had this problem as well. I don't properly know, but it could be a feature of the mechanical failures implemented into OMSI 2. Have you tried clicking the repair button in the alt menu (don't do this while on timetable, as you lose 15mins). I had a SD80 that the rear doors kept opening and closing. Solved it first couple of times by restarting the electrics at the right time, but eventually took the bus out of service.

    Type of download: Bus Repaints

At what point does it crash? And does it give any errors, for example missing objects? I don't know the map but are you certain it is compatible with the game you are using (omsi 1 maps don't work on omsi 2 and vice versa)

Yes I did load map without buses, and I would ideally like the problem to be fixed without a patch. Is there anyway to rollback the game to an earlier patch, as there seems to be quite a few issues with this patch.

latest game log, still trying to reduce settings

EDIT: Working now, don't know what I did

    :S

After reinstalling from disk and disabling unscheduled AI, attempting to run Grundorf map - same problems

Basically, I can't load the Grundorf Tutorial map (I haven't tried Berlin-Spandau yet). I downloaded the game through Steam this morning, and have validated the files twice (which it had to fix 27 of) and have not attempted to do anything with the game files. I have set the graphics option to preset PC 2006 to try and get the game to load, but no luck.

    My PC Specs are:

    ASUS M11BB
    Windows 8 64-bit
    AMD A4 3.7GHz
Dedicated AMD Radeon 8370D graphics (768 MB)
    4GB RAM with 3.2GB usable

It fails to start when it gets to "Loading environmental traffic" and crashes to desktop.

I've had the computer since 15th Apr 2014.

Log after attempting to load Berlin-Spandau.

Does OMSI 1 have better system requirements? If I were to buy it, it would be my last game purchase before getting a new (gaming) computer, which I will buy anytime between April and August, so it wouldn't be a huge problem if I had bad graphics, but the main thing is FPS. Just as a pointer, the SCS Software engine can do these quality of graphics with good FPS. So should I have any problem running low graphics?

But is it possible? I have run games with similar requirements such as Euro Truck Simulator 2 with no problem, but with the game engine being different I don't know how well it will handle. I presume no demo is available for the game for me to try?
