It seems I'm not allowed to drive a bus today. A few successive trials to get my bus (the NG) moving from the depot resulted in this same issue. Yesterday I was able to drive trough Spandau Rathaus with good framerate (it crashed when on the roundabout near Alt-Spandau heading for Freudstraße).

Framerates are good since a clean re-install yesterday. It was worse before but now I hit the default limit of 30. The config of OMSI is "default".
The screenshot below was taken after I (tried) to release the parking brake.

EDIT: The multiple crashes seem to be related to the NG. I just did exactly the same with the D91 and had no trouble at all. Had a smooth ride from Rathaus to Fernbahnhof.
Also the NL202 seems to work fine. The only crashes I encounter now (after a few new installations and steam verify actions) is with the NG272 as on the screenshot.

I have the same issue, but also some crashes to desktop at certain points, such as spawn at Freudstraße and driving to the first stop at the loop, it crashes just after turning half way in the loop.
Now what I did it is starting OMSI again, but turned the AI-buses to 0, so no AI buses were loaded on the map. I had no single crash. From Nervenklink to Ruhleben without any problems, were as before I turned left after Nervenklink and it crashed half way along the street on a consequently basis (eg, 99% of the time around the same spot).

A problem with the timetable sounds plausible, seeing the log file:
    6 10:48:54 - - Warning: Line "maps\Berlin-Spandau\Chrono\1000_FPW_19910602\TTData\137.ttl", tour Sa 12: Entry 14 begins before previous entry ends!

Running the AI-cars and AI-humans do not seem to be an issue with my installation.

Hallo Gemeinde, nach der Installation des Patches 1.06 kommt nach dem Start von OMSI ein Fenster "ungültiger Dateiname" und mein logfile.txt meldet:
    ....
    Danach geht nichts mehr.
Die Dateien sind aber offensichtlich vorhanden
Habe auch bereits mehrfach eine Neuinstallation durchgeführt.
    Weiß jemand Rat?

Hello Fahrgast, you do know, that you are replying here in the English section of this forum?

    :D

On your problem, I would suggest you to make a backup of your complete OMSI installation, remove the installation and re-install OMSI with the new full installation by downloading the full setup from Aerosoft or the place where you bought it. It seems the update did something with your installation. May be a mod or something that is broken with 1.06. A full new install helps a lot sometimes. And after installing, try omsi out before installing all your mods and maps, to see if the basic version works correctly.

Thanks captainprinter! It would be nice if it was published somewhere, as a O305 owner myself I still have that bug just because I didn't install this update without any information about it.

Good day! On the Aerosoft update page and the user center, I see that there is an update 1.05 for OMSI. But there is no mention about it here on this forum or a changelog included. Can anyone say something about this update/patch/file/something 1.05?

Sorry, I am not sure what the problem was. Did you enter the line in the "Linie" or "Umlauf" menu?

When the bus is loaded, I pressed Li-Krs Weg and entered 76, Ja, Ziel 108. Showed perfectly on the front of the bus, nothing to complain. Now I wanted to change the line number, so pressed Li-Krs Weg. The only option I had was to press JA and keep 76 or add one extra number, say 8 what results in 768. Now, I pressed Li-Krs Weg again as I wanted a different number. But I couldn't change it. No "delete number" so to speak. It stays 768 until I remove the bus from the map. I tried "0" and the "no" button, but didn't help. Mind you, it is on the Grundorf map. On the Hamburg map all is fine.

I tested this bus on the Grundorf map, and found out that the Li-Krs Weg button didn't clear the line number of gave the opportunity to change it. Eg, when it was 76 and used the Li-Krs Weg, I could add one number (761) and that's it. The PVG-bus doesn't have this problem. I did restart OMSI to test this, and the new VHH bus had the same issue. Am I missing something, or didn't I read the manual correctly at page 27?

    :D

I like this bus but i find when you put it in gear it leaps forward and moves on its own, is it supposed to do that (in real life i suppose) but for OMSI most buses you put them in Drive and they just roll a little foward if the handbrake is not applied. Also putting it into Reverse the bus is unable to reverse as it still wants to go forward?

Perfectly normal and just like the real one if you have a cold engine. Just heat your engine to operational temperature.

It's possible to use this letters " Ł ą ... " on display, please ? Es ist möglich, diese Buchstaben verwenden " Ł ą ... " auf dem display, bitte?

In a technical way of speaking, this is certainly possible. The matrix is build with a special font script, so if you create those letters and insert them in matrix_fontfile.osc and do the necessary changes in the other Matrix* files such as matrix_fontfile_stringvarlist.txt and Matrix.osc you're up and running. You can create signs, drawings, letters, etc. This way even Chinese is, in theory, possible.

Your computer can't handle the game at the current settings. The framerate will drop below the critical limit and then buses will go nuts.
Only solutions are lowering the graphical settings in OMSI, such as disable reflection, or buy a new computer. I think you should try the first option.

yeah i have got it fixed but now the engine is not coming on

Are you sure you follow the manual? Because there is noting that should be fixed or changed. The default busses work 'out of the box' when installing OMSI.

Ok thanks for the timetable info, i have set the brake many times but still not opening, seems to only open when setting of on first stop then others wont!

Are you sure you have set the station brake, not the parking brake? With the default busses, there is nothing preventing you to open the front doors when you have set the station/bus stop brake. That's the handle near the door open/close buttons.

how do i get the buses that run in newcastle in the game? as using the default bus

I'm a bit unsure what you mean by this. Are you asking how to place a new bus so that you can drive it yourself or are you asking to get other buses on the map? If you mean other buses, you need to download those and install them into OMSI. You can select the buses from the button at the top of your screen and select the bus from the dropdown list. But please clarify your question so that we can answer them correctly.

    Hello Akeem,

When passengers do not want to enter, please make sure you have entered the correct line and destination on the IBIS. Passengers won't board randomly, they want to travel to a certain destination.
Also, the passengers travel to a timetable, when driving a bus on a route, see that you are as close as possible to the timetable you have selected.

The doors, well, it's a bit difficult to say what is wrong here. The standard buses have doors that only open when you have set the bus-stop-brake (haltestellebremse). When this specific brake is set, the doors can be opened and closed. It's not a bug of OMSI, many people have working doors here

    :)

Just follow the manual supplied with OMSI.

Next, Newcastle. Great map, but very heavy on your computer. When you have set your graphical settings to high, you must have a powerful computer. When your computer can't take the load, framerate will go to low and the bus starts jumping. One solution is to set the graphical setting lower. Set them to the lowest possible option and try it. When the bus behaves normally, you can set the options higher, one setting at a time to find your personal best settings. Also, this is not a bug, it's just that your computer can't handle it.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! And enjoy riding the buses on OMSI!
