I'm still kind of clueless on how do I repaint this bus, especially the front and back...

Hey Morphi, one question: you know the button where you can open one of the entrance doors (above the red door buttons)? Which button is in the model file, so I can remove it? Because the STCP version doesn't have some buttons in real life, like the button I mentioned and the full blinker button aside, but since it's OMSI and it's fine to have some extras, I think the separate door button is not really necessary

That should be something which was supposted to be added since the beggining, but the problem is: there are no buttons for the Nothähn at the exterior of each Citaro version, which it wasn't modelled
Also, it's really necessary, as sometimes I do struggle with the doors not opening when there's a problem (detected in the VDV screen) and I don't like to use the wrench option of OMSI to make things easier, I prefer to do it in a (quite) realistic way -
In Germany there weren't any Citaros ever shipped with a Voith D851. That was a very wierd order by STCP or whoever wanted such an outdated combination. So, I am not able to create a realistic sound for it. It's more or less an experimental version. Feel free to improve it but I will not be helpful with this one
I actually did, but for version 3.5 and I still need to implement it for the current version. It's fine -
I don't know if someone mentioned this, but the sounds from the Voith D851 version are quite weird, especially the idle (which I can recognize it's from the O405N2
). -
It would also be difficult to get Sounds of an O402, since they become more and more rare, (There were only 60 ones bult of them!) and don't use the normal O405 Engines. They have an OM366 or OM366A.
_______
OM366A motoren.
I researched the engine type used on the bus and the results came with the Mercedes-Benz 814, so why not use the sounds from videos people recorded from the truck? -
I tried this mod, added the sounds into the new Citaro v4 model folder and now it's better than the previous one. But I want to point out that the driver's window button can't be clickable and it won't open (that's an option that it came with the latest hotfix). Are you planning to fix this issue? Also, thank you for continuing to work on this mod
Also, is it possible to paint over the windows or not yet/planning to? -
I tried the 23A for the first time with the NG235 and I couldn't figure out how do I set the bus line, unless using the 92 button and I did the course without any announcements.
Also, I'm not sure if someone asked about the following:
- the NG235 it's indicated in the Quick Guide that it has a Voith D851.2, but during the 3rd gear I can barely hear the transition from 3rd to 4th, so does the bus really has a 3-speed Voith or a 4-spped?
- does the GU240 have a ZF gearbox, also stated at the Quick Guide? Because the engine sounds like a Voith and its retarder (from the SD200) is still there, the axle can't be heard that much and the gear transitions are not ZF-likeAntoher thing is that I found a bug at the street that goes to Hausfeldstraße there's a repeated car park placed at the same place (there's two merged, in my case, a Focus with a Golf), possibly close to the bus stop (I forgot to take a screenshot, sorry
) It's a really good addon, I admit, but I think some stuff need to be taken in consideration and the hard work before the release is definitelly appreciated

Since the release of iTram's Graf & Stift Gemeinschaftbus pack, here's the real repaint of Rodoviária do Alentejo for the GSUEH 290 M12

(sorry for the OT) Pedro, has something happened to the pictures?

Ich hoffe es ist Ok, dass ich mal das Video von Andi und Julian verlinke
Es geht um das Mercedes O530 + (G) Soundpack Version 4.0!Part 1
Part 2
Viel Spaß beim ansehen!
I watched both videos and I did noticed the differences. Too bad both videos were commented, otherwise it could hear more of the engine sounds... no offense to NGG Andi -
New link, please, for version 1.1? It has a error 429

HI Guys and thanks for the positive feedback, and to Pedro in particular for the words spent on the "stolen bus" theme. Usually a developer develops a bus for himself first, but for me it's different. If it had been just for me, I think I would have given up the project months ago, because I have very little time to enjoy it. What really keeps the project going is the support from people: this really gives me the strength to go on every time. Another good thing about this work is that I learned to do a lot of things that I wouldn't have learnt in any other way and they can be useful in my later carreer.
Now let's talk about the wheels: they look like the ones from vBus because THEY ARE the ones from vBus!!
I created them when I started the bus and those were the best textures I could find, adn btw I hate them too. If you have any suitable textures for me (I only need the inner part, the tires are ok) please let me know.
I do have the "stolen bus" version and it's a really good bus and I did knew that it was incomplete, but still playable. In the future, you could replace the ANNAX matrix with the Krueger ones, as I saw in photos, they use(d) flip-dot ones. It's up to you, really
And like Pedro said, the seats are perfectly detailed. I'm not a big fan of Fainsa seats, but it came out really nice! Take your time on your project and make it the first Italian bus for OMSI -
Maerkertram, sorry that I made you sad, the addon is really good and you deserve the credit for the hard work
So far, I'm actually did managed to do the bus line X10: basically, I set the map at evening (around 9PM/21h) and it's good to go! -
Just saying this: version 2.2.032 is a big lie! Even though I did reworked on one of the maps that couldn't be converted for OMSI 2, I used one untouched and still doesn't work, and I thought it fixes the range check errors for OMSI 1 maps, but it turns out that is not true. Seriously, some OMSI 1 maps and buses are OMSI2-enemy, since they either don't work or they can't be converted...

That's also my guess as Artur117 asked, but in my case, is to increase the maximum speed for the STCP version, as in real life it reaches 80-83km/h, while the OMSI version its maximum speed is 68, so something is not right there
