I am really impressed by the ZF Ecolife version for the O530 & O530G. Not really sure which is my favourite 1 at the minute but they are both fantastic.

Just wondered for why there is no section in the English part of the page for comments to do with Omsi seeing as Google translation & everything dont always work. 130 pages on the german section but nothing in the English thread. Please could somebody add an English section so us English can understand too. Many Thanks

Bezüglich der Motorprobleme bzw. das Durchdrehen des Motors kann ich zur Zeit irgendwie nicht mehr reproduzieren. Muss mal schauen, woran das liegt.

For me it seems to stall a lot & sometimes putting into D from N makes the bus go crazy & start flyimh down the road! Absoloutly love the new sounds though

O405N Final will include following changes:

- revamped 2nd and 3rd gear
- new retarder disengage sound and hissing noise when downshifting
- adjusted volume levels at the front
- separate kickdown sound for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear

Seems to work for me after following the readme file with parts of the Antrieb to edit. Do make backups of BUS file & Antrieb constfile & remember to rename them in the edited BUS file.

EDIT: I have just taken this bus out on a test run & i have to say. ABSOLUTE WOW!! The sounds are amazing! Really love it.

Wow! Absoloute loving the new Merc sound mod! Cant wait to drive with it as i am currently unhappy with the very static sounding engine noises on it! Just have to ask though will this take into account the 3 different version O405N1's as all 3 have different sounding ZFs & 4 & 5 Speed variants. Thanks!

I seem to remember previous versions of this bus you have to hold the brake pedal at the same time you engage the gears.... If that helps.

Hi i downloaded the NL202 ZF & changed all the file text & even though its all the same as the read me i now get this message:

Followed the instructions to the latter in the readme & selecting the ZF NL202 in option menu causes an access violation saying theres a problem with the Ecomat2 OSC file with "Engine Thermometer open" or something similar the problem. Is it possible to upload a fixed Ecomat 2 file as the download doesnt come with it. Thanks

Me & a few friends who own omsi have installed the new patch & immediatly reverted back to Omsi 1.2 as this patch seems to break just about every bus that uses a rollband add on & causes maps to load with even more lag & some maps dont work at all! So unless there is a fix for this we will be staying on V1.2.

Errors Are:
HK South not having any vehicle place points.
No Rollband buses are working including Kamaz & RLB version NL202s.
Good FPS on the new mirrors but the main viewpoint on Dash view is very laggy & stuttery.

This bus does not contain Manual Transmission. As stated on the description only Voith & ZF!

This is quite a good Ikarus add on. Ive tried them all & i particulary like the different voith versions.

If you mean the Engine sounds? Then yes as each sound on Omsi is scripted seperatly. EG The ZF Gearbox Whines are seperate from the Engine sounds.

Hey Guys apologies for the long awaited replies! I havent been on Omsi for several months or visited the Omsi Forum! However i am now back & password reset & now i can get started on re-uploading sound links as several people have sent me PM's asking for particular sounds! Also i may start work on some New sounds if anybody would like a particular sound making please reply to this comment or send me a private message & i shall see what i can do. Thanks.

P.S Please reply from any of the above comment users what particular sounds you would like & i will either post new links or send in private message. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if anybody uses my sounds can you credit me as the person who made them are there are a few people using some of my sounds & they have credited themselfs as the 1s who have made them! I too dislike this gearbox as commented above. When put it into D it rolls forward quickly & the acceleration i think is rather poor in 1st-3rd gear been very slow. Also when changing gears, EG,D to N/R it still lurches forward even with the N/R gears enabled! Other than this problem this bus is amazing really love it. Even more so with all the different bus types to choose!

EDIT: (16/12/11) Have figured out the solution that many people were saying the mods were not working. Result was the wiper mod not been installed as it needs the files to properly load & Also added a new sound mod. B7TL.
