2005
Backwell is connected to stonewell with line 277 (Quickbus), wich goes twice an hour, and to Wattfort with line 280 (Busybus), wich goes once an hour. Both lines drive a rather complicated route within backwell.
2006
The route of line 277 is changed to now serve the university in rush hour, instead of west station. Line 280 gets extended to the hospital, from the station.
Busybus starts line 282, A pretty short regional line to the town of dewfort, using taxibusses to operate a hourly service.
2007
People in backwell are showing initiative and stepped towards the city hall, "the buses here aren't bearable". And came with a plan to aquire 11 mercedes benz Cito's, wich were still standing at the mercedes factory after never being sold. All buses where succesfully aquired, but it took a while to get everything right. The new company, Backwell transit company (BTS)started first service mid 2007 operating as line 1, between the hospital, station and university, on a twice an hourly basis.
Line 277 and 280 no longer do a complicated route trough the city to reach the hospital and the university. 277 returns to driving all journeys via west station.
2008
In 2008 BTC took of with 3 new lines. Line 2, from the station via the hospital and the university to South station. on a twice an hourly basis. Line 3 that goes from the station to the city center on a twice an hourly basis, and line 4, that goes from the main station to the east station in a pretty direct route, on an hourly basis. From now on line 1 only drives in the rush hour, one drive to the university, and in mid day one away from the university.
2009
In 2009 BTC again expanded, but also changed. The 2 drives on line 1 from now on where intergrated in line 2, and line 1 disapeared. and where now driven with a second hand citaro, to acommodate the passanger numbers. Line 2 also extended from west station to country square. Still goign on a twice an hourly basis. Line 3 got extended from the city center to waterloo junction station, via the coastline. Frequenty decreased to once an hour. Line 5 was added, goign from the station to waterfront station via Doctors District, on a twice an hourly basis.
Line 4 became useless and got discontinued as line 280 increased frequenty to twice an hour on weekdays.
Line 282 due to low ridership on sundays and evenings no longer drives on sundays and evenings.
Line 277 from now on drives a few drives a day with a more complicated route trough the towns on the route. and gets a few drives in the nights in the weekends.
2010
Regional lines got renumbered and straightened out.
Line 277 got split in 3 new lines, 120, the regular line, with an increased frequenty of 3 times an hour. 620, the more complicated town routes line, wich was extended to the hospital in stonewell. and now drives on a bi-hourly frequenty between 7.00 and 15.00 with a taxibus. and line 920, wich dries the few drives at night. with the exact same route as 120.
Line 282 became line 621, and was lowered to a bi-hourly frequenty, and all trips on saturdays got removed. and became under the ownership of Quickbus. Thei'r citaro's are now for sale.
Line 280 became line 124, and now drives with a taxibus in weekend's and became under the ownership of Quickbus.
2011
Frequenty on line 2 gets increased to 4 times an hour, and now once an hour continues to Brighton lane.
Line 3 got extended again, and the frequenty was increased, from now on line 3 continues to waterline station and dunes Beach hotel, and the frequenty was changed to twice an hour. But in evenings and sundays started to drive with hired taxibusses.
Line 621 returned on saturdays after heavy protesting, on a bi hourly basis. Due to the same protest frequenty got icnreased to once every 90 minutes on weekdays.
Line 124 now drives all trips with a large bus again. and goes once an hour again.
2012-2013
Minor route changes
2014
2 drives to the university isn't enough anymore for line 2. A second, second hand citaro is quired from former Busybus, to deliver a twice an hour extra service to the University in the wide rush hour. Line 2 now continues twice an hour, instead of once to Brighton lane. Line 2 no longer serves Dovewell road station.
Line 3's frequenty was increased to 3 times an hour. the frequenty on sundays and evenings remains unchanged, but is now driven with own second hand minibuses.
Line 5's frequenty on evenings was reduced to once an hour with a own secondhan taxibus, due to low evening ridership.
Line 120 now goes 4 times an hour, and does not serve Dovewell road station anymore. (920 has the same route change)
Line 620 Still goes Bi- hourly, but doesn't serve Dovewell road station anymore. the the amount of drives a day was increased by 2 by adding extra drives at 6.00 and 17.00
Line 621 now goes hourly, and sunday drives recontinue bi hourly.a 2 week test with evening drives on weekdays was performed but unsuccesfull.
Line 124 Now goes twice an hour again due to rising demands. and does not serve waterloo junction station anymore.
2015
Line 2: on sunday's the 2 drives a day till country square get shortened to west station due to low ridership. Line 2 now serves South station.
Line 3: Got a slight route edit in the city center due to line 620 not comming in the city center anymore.
Line 5: Got extended to Promenade on weekends, and now uses the 2 citaro's in weekends, and weekend Daytime frequenty is increased from once, to twice an hour. Further, no change.
Line 120: Unchanged
Line 920: Add's an extra drive on thursday 23.00
Line 620: Does not serve backwell City center anymore. Now goes regularely once every 2 hours between 6.00 and 18.00
Line 621 becomes line 121 and from now on drives with a regular bus on weekdays. No change in frequenty/route
Line 124: Minor changes in route and timetable, weekend and evening drives now are done by a taxibus again.
2016
Line 2: Extra drives on sunday removed
Line 920: Stopped due to low ridership. The only bus drives in the beginning of the evening are taken over with line 120.
