Incorporated some NL202 more like sounds, check the first post for more details.
Hi krtz07,
thank you very much! Nice to see that someone is still working on ZF sounds for the NL 202! I've tested your new version and it sounds really good. I think it's not 100% perfect but still really good! Hope you are still working on more updates later.
By the way:
Here is a short demonstration of your new version:

For people who are unsure...
Good evening ;),
oh my god, a real MAN NL 202 ZF Sound!, i´m so happy to use it, special thanks to you, it´s a real masterpiece by you
The sound would really great now, there are some small things they could be better, but the most important part is made really great.
You and Morphi are the best sound creators of Omsi
Thanks,
greetings
Very nice!
The ZF-Sound is very great and much more realistic but the kickdown aren't for me realisitc. I wish for the ZF-Sound more realisic kickdowns.
Greets to USA
But it doesn't work with the DTF v1 by Kamaz sadly...

I love it, but I need help for the newer script version 1.5 from your first post. I dont now to copy and insert the scripts in which file. Can anyone help me?
Do not worry about that, the script is already included.
Zitatut the kickdown aren't for me realisitc.
What's an "realistic' kickdown?
FWIW the sounds are based off of this recording.

and:
Is it only me or does the bus accelerates a bit too fast by default so it sounds a bit "rough"?! And there are some noticeable "scratches", too. Transitions are also not 100%. Other sounds like rattle are now a bit too quite (or others are too loud...). But apart from that it's really good. A lot better than before. So don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your work! And about kickdown... I for myself prefer that kind of sound:
This is true I haven't really gotten around when it comes to "cleaning up the sounds and adjusting their volumes". In fact given to my history on here people normally would released something with cleanup sounds so I kept it pretty open ended for that reason. I do have plans on releasing updates very soon, though. As far as the kickdown sound, hmph! I'll see what can done as I originally said on here none of the buses over here has the kickdown. Under the lock up in 2nd gear shift pointing, I am used to an lower shifting point, however, in this case it appears the first gear kicks in way longer then I expected it would be under kickdown.
As far as the acceleration is concern, perhaps I can extend the torque reduction into other gears as well but I'd like to remind you that the bus in the recording is an articulate bus, therefore it weighs heavier and accelerates slower then the standard length buses.
Thanks for the feedback, BTW!

Ok, this is what I have done so far. I've increased the 1st gear shift point to shift around 15 mph under kickdown, lock up would now occur at 22 mph in the second gear under kickdown. Much simliar to the last two recordings which you guys posted. Also as far as the acceleration, the final drive ratio on both of these recordings sounds like they are at an 5:13 ratio.
Whereas the bus in OMSI was set to 5:74, this has been changed to 5:13. Also it turns out that the engine physics which was used provided 900 NM, I've came across with an torque curve for the D0826 engine, provided by PoweredbyCNG, it turns out that it was actually 780 NM. With the combination of both of these tweaks and from listening to the recordings as well as video recordings, the acceleration of the bus is now prototypical.
I will release an update sometime within the next few days.
Also, for those with FPS issues, that is not directly caused by this mod, you need to reduce the size of the textures down to 1024x1024 or 512x512 resolution. This will speed things up quite an bit within the simulator.

The ZF-Sound ist now better. AN the kickdown ist now better. Thank you for this work!
Best Regards
Nice work!
Downshifting sounds very close to the original...upshifting first to second gear Sounds not so good, but second to third sounds very good!
*EDIT*: In my opion, fourth und fith gear sounds in your version before v.1.0 and v.1.5 much better. Can you release a version with this "old" sounds?
